O.k. I have found numerous recipes for dogs, but all have ingredients we don't have. To day being the day right before Christmas I don't think any stores would have the ingredients. So if anyone could find a recipe without meat(any kind) and whole wheat flour(i have regular flour though and all purpose flour)Thanks your help would be greatly appreciated. Is there any homemade dog biscuit recipes that don't include meat or whole wheat flour?
You can substitute your regular flour for whole wheat. It won't make that much difference. I also usually add a can of mixed vegetables or something similar, then cut down on the water or milk I'm using to make the batter. Then I use a new, cylinder shaped hairbrush (the kind with the hard pointy plastic bristles) to punch holes in the rolled out batter before cutting. Is there any homemade dog biscuit recipes that don't include meat or whole wheat flour?
I make these for my dog all of the time, they are super easy and I think you'd be able to make them from stuff you have in your kitchen already :)
1 1/2 Tbs. oil
1 cup warm chicken stock, warm water or any other warm liquid of your choice
1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked
1/4 to 1/2 cup peanut butter OR 1/3 to 1/2 cup cheese
Mix oil, peanut butter and warm liquid together until peanut butter melts; stir in all of the rest of the ingredients until a dough forms. If you are using grated cheese, add it into the mixture with the flour instead of melting it into the liquid. Shape into 2 or 3 tubes, wrap in plastic wrap %26amp; refrigerate for an hour. I often place them into the freezer to speed up the chilling, which takes about 30 minutes in the freezer. Slice into 1/4'; biscuits and bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the biscuits are dry and crispy. Or you can refrigerate the dough and then roll out to 1/4'; thickness and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter and then bake. Flip the biscuits over about halfway through cooking so that they evenly brown. Let them cool completely %26amp; they're ready for consumption! This makes lots of treats, but they store very nicely in airtight containers or in the refrigerator.

Peanut Butter and Honey Dog Biscuits
3/4 cup flour
1 egg
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 teaspoon peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable shortening
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Heat honey and peanut butter until runny (about 20 seconds in the microwave. Mix ingredients together and drop by 1/2 teaspoonful onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes. My dog is a Pug, and a half a biscuit is plenty for her. So if you have a bigger or smaller dog, adjust the biscuit size (and the cooking time).
This normally makes about 45 to 50 biscuits.
hello! I have found an awesome recipe for doggy biscuits on Racheal Ray's website. They call for some olive oil, eggs and peanut butter and flour...and I did use unbleached all purpose flour instead of whole wheat. The difference is that whole wheat is much better for your dog but the recipe works the same.
This is the recipe I use when I make my holiday gifts for our Pet friends!! Hope it helps!

Perishable frostings (must be refrigerated when not in use)
You can frost them as well with this frosting recipe:
2 cup mashed banana
1 tablespoon butter
6 tablespoon carob flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoon unbleached flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Blend thoroughly and spread on cool cake. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. The frosting contains carob, which is a safe chocolate-like flavor substitute for chocolate.
