A really easy treat to make is this. Take some milk bones and dip them into some melted carob chips. then roll them or sprinkle some crushed peanuts on them.
Carob is safe for dogs and so are peanuts. They are really easy to do, and any dog loves them.
You could get them a new doggie jacket if its really cold where you are.Any dog biscuit/treat recipes? %26amp; what shuld i get my dogs for xmas ?

For christmas you should get your dogs toys, balls, frisbees, etc. Wrap the gifts on christmas and let them open them! They love that!
I love my dogs too i have a cavalier king charles spaniel. You should get your dogs a toy from Petsmart. If you have one of those nearby.
Here are two organic dog treat recipes:
ICE CUBES JUST GOT A LOT BETTER
3 C. plain non-fat yogurt
1 C. peanut butter (unsalted)
1 Tbs. honey
Combine all ingredients together and whisk thoroughly. Pour mixture into ice cube trays (I used 4 and there was still some left over) and freeze solid (at least 2 hours).
Pop out one cube at a time and serve to your pup.
JERKY TURKEY (one tough bird, but one gentle-on-the-tummy treat)
1 lb. raw ground turkey (or chicken)
1 Tbs. extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (or granulated garlic)
This treat is grain-free and low in fat.
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Combine all ingredients together in a food processor and puree the mixture. Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil (it makes clean up easier) and pour the mixture onto it. Spread evenly.
Bake 2 hours with the oven door slightly ajar to allow the moisture to escape. Remove from oven, and using a pizza cutter or knife, cut into small individual-sized portions. Place pieces back in the oven, flipped over, and bake an additional 1-2 hours or until the treats are dry and leathery. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
I know you said no ';cookies,'; but there is also a good recipe for Muddy Paws, which are cookies made with carob powder, carob chips, oat flour, brown rice flour, an egg, unsalted peanut butter, honey and water. They come out rather chewy (like dog biscuits), but my Boston pup just loves them.
All of these recipes can be found in The Organic Dog Biscuit Cookbook by Jessica Disbrow Talley and Eric Talley. There are over 100 recipes in the book. They have many dog biscuit recipes, but I haven't had the nerve to get out my rolling pin and cookie cutters. The book is available at Amazon.com.
I am giving my puppy a fox Skinneeez for Christmas. It is about 24'; long, has soft ';fur'; with a squeaker in the head and tail, and has no stuffing to come out. He already has a rabbit Skinneeez and loves dragging it around the house. I love it because there's no stuffing to fly all over the house. Skinneeez are available on-line from Drs. Foster and Smith in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. I love ordering dog stuff on-line. I usually hear about the products from the dog magazines that I read.
I am also giving Boss a plush toy that has a checkerboard for a body (about 12'; square) with a head and tail at either end. Each checkerboard square has a squeaker inside, so there are 16 squeakers in all. My husband will probably be ready to leave home! That puppy just loves anything with a squeaky. I think it is made by Plush Puppy.
Happy holidays from Wisconsin.
