5.00 lb Flour
2.00 c Brown sugar
1.00 Stick margarine
1.00 cn Cheddar cheese soup
-(undiluted)
2.00 Teasp garlic powder
2.00 Teasp salt
4.00 c Warm chicken or beef broth
4.00 Eggs
Mix all ingredients, kneed until smooth. Roll on a floured surface--about
14 inches. Cut into shapes (dog biscuit cutter), brush tops with mixture of
beaten egg and 1 tablesp. of milk. BAKE at 325 degrees on greased baking
sheets for 45 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
Biscuits should be frozen or refrigerated if kept longer than 3 to 4 days.Would love to receive some healthy dog biscuit recipes, please only fast and simple ones. Thanks !?

2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup pecans
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup dried fruit *
3/4 cup milk
4 tablespoons margarine
1 egg
*your choice: apricots, banannas, apples,raisins, etc
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add milk, margarine and eggs. Kneed until dough is formed. Roll dough to 1/4'; thickness. Cut with cookie cutter and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Makes 1 1/2 doz.Would love to receive some healthy dog biscuit recipes, please only fast and simple ones. Thanks !?

Healthy Dog Treats
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup sunflower kernels, finely chopped
1 t. salt
1/4 cup molasses
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
2 T. oil
Mix all ingredients, adding more milk if needed to make dough firm. Roll out onto a floured surface to a 1/2'; thickness. Use any shape cookie cutter to cut out biscuits, but bone shapes are fun. Bake on ungreased baking sheets at 350 for 30 minutes or until lightly toasted. To make biscuits harder, leave in oven with the heat turned off for an hour or more.
GOOD DOG BISCUITS
1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup liver powder (available at
health food stores)
2 tablespoons brewer's yeast powder
1/4 cup bone meal powder
3 tablespoons powdered milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 tablespoons wheat germ oil (you may substitute bacon drippings)
1/2 cup water
This healthy and economical treat is reserved for your four-legged friends only!
Your dog will thank you if you make a double batch.
Preheat the oven to 325~F.
In a large bowl or in the food processor, combine the flour, oatmeal, cornmeal, liver powder, brewer's yeast, bone meal, and powdered milk (may also add beef or chicken bouillon cubes).
Stir in the eggs, oil, and water and mix thoroughly.
The dough will be very stiff and dry (much like dog biscuits!)
Remove the dough to a lightly floured surface or pastry cloth.
Roll or pat it into a rectangle 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
Cut into bone-shaped biscuits with a small knife, or use a bone-shaped cookie cutter.
Re-roll the leftover scraps of dough and cut into shapes until all the dough is used.
Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 40 to 50 minutes until brown and dried through.
Cool on a rack.
Yield: About 12 large bones or 24 small ones.
BREAD MACHINE DOG BISCUITS
3/4 cup beef stock
1 egg
3 tablespoons bacon grease
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons yeast
Place ingredients in bread pan according to manufacturers directions and
press ';Dough'; cycle. When machine beeps, remove dough to lightly
floured countertop and with a rolling pin, roll dough out to 1/4';
thickness. Using a dog bone cookie cutter (or any small seasonal cookie
cutters), cut out dog biscuits and place on a lightly greased cookie
sheet or one sprinkled with cornmeal. Re-roll scraps and repeat till
all dough is used up. Place in a warm location and let rise 30 minutes.
Bake at 325 for 30 minutes until brown and no longer soft. Place on a
rack to cool. Store in an airtight container.

1 3/4 cups plain flour
2 tsp toasted wheat germ
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sesame seeds
rind of 1 lemon
12 tsp butter or margarine
1/2 cup ground walnuts
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Dog Food Recipe Directions:
Combine all the ingredients. Knead until thoroughly blended. Divide into 6 parts. Roll each into a log. Wrap loosely in wax paper. Freeze. When needed, thaw and slice into 1/2 thick slices (across roll). Preheat oven to 375F. Place cookies on an un-greased cookie pan. Bake about 12 minutes. Makes 6-8 cookies per roll.
