Any quick, simple and original cake/biscuit recipes that I can use for the MacMillan Coffee morning on Friday?

you did say quick and easy.....add 2 cups sugar...2 cups all purpose flour ...2 tsp baking soda...2 eggs 1 tbsp vanilla 1 can (20 oz ) crushed pineapple...1 cup chopped pecans...pour into a 9 by 13 pan ungreased...bake 350 for 40 to 45 mins cool completely ..frost with cream cheese frosting......this is quick and easy and delicous,,,, PINEAPPLE PECAN CAKEAny quick, simple and original cake/biscuit recipes that I can use for the MacMillan Coffee morning on Friday?
Easy Banana Nut Bread





1/2 c Butter


1 c Sugar


2 Eggs


4 sm Bananas, mashed


3/4 ts Baking soda


1/2 ts Salt


1 1/2 c Flour


3/4 c Chopped walnuts





Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Stir in bananas.





Add dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into bread pan, bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes.











Easy Fudge





3 c Chopped chocolate or chocolate wafers (sweet, semisweet, or a combination)


1 cn Sweetened condensed milk


Pinch of salt


1 ts Vanilla


1/2 c Chopped nuts





A very good fudge with no cooking or thermometer watching. Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling water. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in a generously buttered 8-inch square pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge out onto a cutting board, cut into squares. Store in tightly covered containers. Makes 49 pieces.








Easy Graham Cracker Cookies





24 Graham crackers, separated in half


1 c Butter


1 c Brown sugar


1 c Chopped walnuts





Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Use a cookie sheet with sides. Place crackers on cookie sheet. In a small sauce pan, heat butter and sugar until boiling. Add nuts to mixture. Pour over crackers. bake 10 minutes





Extra Easy Coffee Cake





1/4 c Sugar


1/2 ts Cinnamon


1 cn 10oz. Hungry Jack Refrig. Flaky biscuits


1/4 c Semi-sweet choc. chips


1/4 c Peanut butter chips


2 tb Margarine, melted





Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 8 or 9 inch round cake pan. In 1 gallon plastic bag or large bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon; mix well. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Drop 5 pieces at a time into cinnamon mixture; toss to coat. Remove biscuits with slotted spoon; place in greased pan. Repeat with remaining pieces. Sprinkle with chips; drizzle with melted margarine. Bake fo 18 to 23 minutes or until biscuits are deep golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes; remove from pan. Serve warm.








Quick And Chewy Chocolate Drops





8 oz Hershey's semi-sweet baking chocolate, broken into pieces


1/4 c Butter or margarine; softened (1/2 stick)


1/2 c Sugar


1 Egg


1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract


1/2 c All purpose flour


1/4 ts Baking powder


1/2 c Chopped nuts; (optional)





Heat oven to 350 deg F. In small microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate. Microwave at high (100%) 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted when stirred; cool slightly. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until well blended. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Blend in melted chocolate, flour and baking powder. Stir in nuts, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until almost set. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. About 2 dozen cookies.











Quick And Easy Chocolate Brownies





1/2 c Sugar


1/4 c Evaporated milk


1/4 c Butter or margarine; (1/2 stick)


8 oz Hershey's semi-sweet baking chocolate, broken into pieces


2 Eggs


1 ts Vanilla extract


3/4 c All-purpose flour


1/4 ts Baking soda


1/4 ts Salt


3/4 c Chopped nuts; (optional)





Heat oven to 350 deg F. Grease 9 inch square baking pan. In medium saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; remove from heat. Add chocolate, stirring until melted; beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and nuts, if desired, until well blended. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares. About 16 brownies.











Quick And Easy Fudgey Brownies





4 oz Hershey's Unsweetened Baking Chocolate Broken Into pieces


3/4 c Butter or Margarine


2 c Sugar


3 Eggs


1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract


1 c All-purpose flour


1 c Chopped nuts; (optional)





Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan. In large microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate and butter. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. Add sugar; stir with spoon until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add flour and nuts, if desired; stir until well blended. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Frost, if desired. Cut into squares. About 24 brownies.








Quick And Easy Lemon Cheesecake





1 Graham cracker crust, baked


8 oz Pkg cream cheese


2 c Milk


1 pk Lemon instant pudding


Whipped cream, optional





In a small mixer bowl, beat the cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add the milk; beat until well blended. Add the pudding; beat 1 minute. Pour into cooled crust. Chill well. Top with a sprinkling of graham cracker crumbs and serve with whipped cream, if desired.





Quick Biscuit Mix





2 3/4 c Wheat flour


1/2 c Soy flour; 2 T


1 1/4 ts -salt


1/2 c Inst dry milk;less 1 T


2 1/2 tb Baking powder


1 c Wheat germ





Combine all ingredients store in sealed container.





Makes 5 c








Quick Biscuits





2 c Flour


5 ts Baking powder


1 ts Salt


1/4 c Shortening


1 c Milk





Mix and sift the dry ingredients; rub in the shortening and mix with the milk to a soft, thick dough. Drop by spoonfuls onto a well-greased tin and bake in a quick oven (425) for about 15 minutes. These are best when made with butter and come out of the oven as thin, crusty biscuits rather than the thicker variety.





Twelve biscuits.











Quick Cookies





1/2 c Brown sugar


1/2 c White sugar


1/4 c Butter


1 Egg, unbeaten


1 c Flour


1 ts Baking powder


1 ts Cinnamon


1 ts Vanilla


1/3 c Chopped nuts (optional)





Cream sugars and butter together. Mix in egg. Add flour sifted with baking powder. Add vanilla and nuts. Drop from a spoon on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 deg for 7 minutes. Check for cookie to be just browned on the bottom for chewy cookies.

but for some really simple (and great) brownies you need:


1/2 cup of butter, 200g plain chocolate, 1 cup of sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla and 1/4 cup self raising flour.


melt the chocolate and the butter, stir in the sugar, add the eggs and vanilla, then the flour.


cook for 30 mins at 350, 180 or GM4.
Flapjack! You can't beat it, 200g of oat, 75g of marg and about 3 tbsp of golden syrup. Melt the marg and gs in a pan, mix it with the oats and then put in a baking tin in the oven for about 15mins - until it's golden brown! You can add allsorts to it, chocolate, smarties, sweets, chilli, caramel!!

biscuits fudge


1/4lb rich tea biscuits


1/4lb digestive biscuits


1/4lb Marguerite


2 table spoons of syrup


2Oz's of sugar


125 grams of chocolate


method


1 crush biscuits


2 melt syrup and margarine together


mix biscuits sugar and margarine and syrup together


3 spread out in a tin leave to cool in fridge


4 melt chocolate spread over mixture cool and cut into pieces
Rice crispy cakes, nice, simple and delicious!
