You want easy- buy cookie dough mix or even better, already prepared cookie dough from the grocery store's freezer section. Simple shortbread cookies are good incase students have allergies to peanuts or chocolate.
you can purchase a homemade biscuit at the groc. stores. Its not the can biscuits either. they come in the frozen section in plastic bags. they are just like the homemade one. good........
go to the grocery and get a box of Bisquick instant biscuit mix. You really can't do much better. You can use Bisquick to make drop biscuits or rolled biscuits, dumplings. It is a great mix. basically it is flour with the proper mix of baking soda, salt and shortening in it. Fast, easy and you get great biscuits every time!

Get a box and give it a try tonight so you know what you are doing. Trying a new recipes for the first time for the actual occasion is very, very risky! Always try the recipe first, before the occasion.
try www.bbc.co.uk/food - loads of great recipes for all levels of cooking ability!!
The simplest way to make biscuits is to make them from the Bisquick recipe off of the back of the box. All of the dry ingredients are there and you just add milk/water, best with milk and eggs. Good luck and God bless****
